Following ‘African Lights’ and ‘Moroccan Lights,’ the ‘Art Routes’ collection continues its focus on the African continent with the release of the book ‘African Generation, the Power of Design.’ Across 224 pages, a historical retrospective of the emergence of Design in Africa accompanies the portraits of around fifty artists.

Furthermore, the designers share their universe and provide insights into their emblematic works. They draw inspiration from everyday objects and play with Western design codes, reflecting the history of their respective countries through their works.

Two African experts are behind this work: Hicham Lahlou, ambassador of African design, a leading figure in Moroccan design, and an emblematic figure of the new generation of design. Next is Mugendi K. M’Ritha, the president of Emeritus and a senator of the World Design OrganizationTM, and an industrial designer.

Additionally, the Tunisian designer Zouhair Ben Jannet, the founder of Air Design, is featured in this book.
